The Schultz Family Foundation Awards Corporate America Supports You (CASY) $500,000 to Support Hiring Program for Service Members and Their Families

Lake St. Louis, MO, May 17, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Corporate America Supports You (CASY) is proud to announce receipt of a $500,000 grant from the Schultz Family Foundation which will help provide timely and quality, direct employment placement services to members of the Reserve, National Guard, and their families.

“Members of the National Guard and Reserve and their families face employment challenges that are unique to their service within the military community,” said Stacy Bayton, Senior Executive Vice President of CASY. “The Schultz Family Foundation’s support will allow us to expand our support, build relationships with additional employment organizations, and continue to get the message out to employers about the value of military service.”

“Helping service members, reservists, veterans and their families transition into stable and successful civilian lives is a key focus of our work at the Schultz Family Foundation,” said Daniel Pitasky, executive director of the Schultz Family Foundation. “This grant will specifically focus on members of the guard, reservists and their families so it complements the transition support we offer other members of the military and veterans with programs like ‘Onward to Opportunity.’ CASY is a leader in this area and we’re very happy to be working with them.”

CASY is a proud partner of Onward to Opportunity. Founder and President Deb Kloeppel recently spoke at the Jacksonville, Florida Onward to Opportunity class. She explained, “We are so excited to work with O2O to support our shared mission. We are grateful to The Schultz Foundation for their support of our work and their commitment to service members and their families.”
