Texas Home Inventory Professionals Achieve Appraisal Examiner Certification

Partners of Houston-based Lonestar Inventory, Licensee of Nationwide Inventory Professionals, recently achieved their Certified Appraisal Examiner Designations.

Houston, TX, September 20, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Nationwide Inventory Professionals is pleased to announce that Licensees Hassan Saiyid and Nash Khan, owners of Lonestar Inventory, have achieved their Certified Appraisal Examiner (CAE) designations. This newly developed certification is designed to serve the appraisal needs of direct clients in addition to filling the examiner role for the appraisal industry. Earning this next level helps to expand Lonestar’s scope of inventory services.

Mike Hartman, owner of Nationwide Inventory Professionals, stated, “It is a testament to their dedication to this industry when Licensee chooses to expand their home inventory business into other niches. The home inventory industry is growing, and bringing this opportunity to the Licensees is what Nationwide Inventory Professionals is all about...helping them achieve success. Offering this opportunity to expand their core service is beneficial to Lonestar and to their clients. We are pleased that Lonestar Inventory is the first Appraisal Examiner to serve the state of Texas.”

Understanding the need for continuing education, the business partners chose to add this second industry educational achievement to the previously-earned Certified Inventory Specialist (CIS) designation through the National Inventory Certification Association (NICA). The CIS designation is an all-encompassing industry recognition while the CAE focuses specifically on the appraisal industry. To help ensure that they are prepared to serve this niche in a knowledgeable and professional manner, the Inventory Specialist Certification was a prerequisite to pursuing the Appraisal Examiner Level. They were also required to successfully complete the Customer Service and Appraisal Examiner courses, plus one elective chosen from the NICA curriculum.

This certification provides the credentials to assist appraisers by collecting the required information they need to create an accurate (USPAP) compliant certified report. The purpose of a CAE designation is to establish recognition for this specialized service, establishing the opportunity for appraisal firms to locate certified examiners, and for the inventory professionals to grow their businesses through additional revenue opportunities.

When completing an inventory service for residential and commercial clients, the inventory professional is often asked if they know the value of items, or if they can refer an appraiser. Lonestar is now able to fill this request. Appraisal Examiners collect the information required by an appraiser to assign value, then submits the information to the participating appraiser. Additionally, appraisers can now contact Lonestar’s owners as CAEs, and confidently hire their service rather than travel to remote locations as required in the past. This allows for a two-way referral opportunity between the inventory and the appraisal professionals.

Based in Houston, Texas, Lonestar Inventory offers residential and business asset inventory services, and specializes in collections inventories, and most recently, appraisal examiner services. For more information, visit http://LonestarInventory.com.
