Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, November 29, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Following a press conference attended by officials from the government and private sector yesterday morning, the third annual Breakbulk Middle East conference was officially announced. Breakbulk Middle East is the only exhibition and conference in the region specifically for the project cargo and breakbulk industry. The conference will be held at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi on 6th-7th February 2018.

Dr. Abdullah Al Katheeri, Director General, Federal Transport Authority was joined by senior representatives from Abu Dhabi Ports and Instar Projects, Shipping Services to discuss how regional organizations can capitalize on the current industry landscape.

More than 100 exhibitors, representing the end-to-end value chain for the transport of oversize cargo, will be present at Breakbulk Middle East 2018. The event offers a full conference schedule where key industry members can share their knowledge and experience, including leaders from Fluor, Petrofac, Saudi Aramco and Technip.

Commenting on the announcement Dr. Abdullah said: “We are delighted to see the region’s foremost experts in the sector come together for the third annual Breakbulk Middle East. The leading shippers, carriers, freight forwarders, transport specialists and related service providers will discuss the current industry landscape and innovative ways we can strengthen the value chain. The exhibition is the perfect occasion to showcase the multi-billion dollars development projects in the region.”
