Schiff Capital Investments is a privately held investment company with offices in Brentwood California and Los Angeles California. Schiff Capital invests and develops creative office space, multi-family buildings, mortgage related distressed debt financing and various operating entities. Commercial real estate, middle market lending and distressed debt mortgage financing investing have always been the core theme of the Schiff Capital portfolio.
Today, Tom Schiff manages a unique portfolio of investments that include multi-family, value-added land developments and commercial real estate through development and repositioning. Currently focused on renovating obsolete properties into hip “creative multifamily” that appeal to Gen Y, creative class, urbanites. Our residential portfolio adds modern elements including exposed building elements, wood or concrete floors, collaborative efficient floor plans, café kitchens, privatized outdoor space, social common areas. The properties in our portfolio are located in Northeast Los Angeles, specifically Echo Park, Silver Lake and Highland Park neighborhoods.
Thomas R. Schiff is typically more active as an investor during the latter part of an economic downturn and during periods of economic recovery and keeps a focus on conservative capitalization.
