Vermont Small Business Veteran Launches the Growth Coach in Four Counties

Stowe, VT, August 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Vermont small business veteran, Mary Beth Quinn, launches The Growth Coach, a coaching and mentoring business dedicated to helping Vermont small businesses in Chittenden, Addison, Washington, and Lamoille counties maximize professional and personal opportunities.

The Growth Coach utilizes a highly systematic process that assists small business executives to become more focused, effective, and productive. Quinn offers programs tailored to each client’s schedule and provides strategic planning and business solutions in all areas; including productivity, sales, marketing, leadership, business planning, and employee management. A 40 year resident of the Stowe and Burlington areas and a small business owner with over 25 years of experience in Vermont, Quinn combines coaching and accountability to help Vermont small business owners, managers, entrepreneurs, and executives create business plans, set realistic goals, and develop future strategies designed to help them work less and earning more money.

“As Vermont small businesses and self employed operations are on the rise in Vermont, I decided to take my varied and successful Vermont business owner experiences, my background in coaching, and a nationally proven business-coaching model to help Vermont business owners escape the trap of being too busy working ‘in’ their business to work ‘on’ their business,” exclaims Quinn.

Most recently the owner of Stowe Country Homes, Quinn was responsible for growing the business from two employees and 35 rentals in 1999, to over 14 employees and 200 home listings, as well as adding property management, concierge, and real estate sales divisions over an eight year period. In addition, she renovated the historic Godin House in Stowe’s lower village that became the new home of Stowe Country Homes, Prior experience also includes owning the first Olympiad Pro Shop in Burlington, Fine Lines in the Champlain Mill and Snowear, Inc. in South Burlington, a knitwear design and manufacturing business. Quinn is also a PSIA Level 3 certified ski coach with the Stowe Wintersports School.

As Vermont’s only Growth Coach, Quinn offers quarterly coaching and accountability workshops, one-on-one sessions for individuals, and The Coaching Club – tele-coaching designed for busy executives on the go. Workshops can be scheduled directly through Quinn or Vermont membership organizations. Current courses scheduled include webinars with the Vermont Chamber of Commerce and workshops with the Women Business Owner’s Network.

“Small businesses need someone in their corner, helping them think strategically and opportunistically,” states Quinn. “Business owners and professionals are the experts in their business or industry, and I am the expert at helping them grow a business – together we can reach their personal and professional goals by working smarter, not harder.”
