Slingsby Donates Computer Equipment to Charity

Baildon, United Kingdom, August 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Slingsby have donated their old computer equipment including monitors, base units, fax machines and printers to a local charity in Castleford. Airedale Computer Recycling collect redundant computers from businesses to use for the training of long-term unemployed people, for discounted resale to the public and for giving free of charge to local charitable, voluntary and other worthy causes. All profits are returned into the community through the registered charity Chrysalis Youth & Community Project to further their work in providing an alternative education program to disadvantaged or excluded young people.

Slingsby, based in Shipley West Yorkshire, are leading mail order suppliers of industrial and commercial equipment. They are committed to reducing their impact on the environment and reducing the amount of waste they produce by maximising recycling.
