Sonitrol Pacific's SonaVision Spies Two

Prompt response by police to a detection by Sonitrol Pacific's SonaVision video surveillance system led to the arrest of two suspected burglars at OST Partnership.

Seattle, WA, September 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested two suspected burglars at OST Partnership in Seattle after the SonaVision monitored security camera system alerted authorities of activity September 7.

An experienced Sonitrol Pacific operator received an impact-activated audio alarm from OST at 6:55 a.m. and reviewed live video from the scene to verify the activation. She saw two individuals prying open the lobby doors and immediately dispatched police.

Officers arrived at OST by 7:01 a.m. and quickly rounded up the suspects. The operator was able to see where the two intruders went inside the facility and inform police.

According to officers, the suspects were ready to leave the building with laptops, computers and monitors when police arrived. Thanks to the early and verified detection by Sonitrol Pacific and the fast response by the Seattle Police Department, the men were apprehended within six minutes of entering the facility and losses to OST were minimal.

Sonitrol Pacific has provided verified electronic security to businesses and organizations in the Pacific Northwest since 1978. During those 30 years, the company has assisted law enforcement in the apprehension of almost 5, 000 suspected criminals.
