Fairytale Brownies Donates Hundreds of Brownies to Victims of Hurricane Charley!

Chandler, AZ, August 26, 2004 --(PR.com)-- As soon as co-owners Eileen Spitalny and David Kravetz of Fairytale Brownies heard about the devastation in Florida, they wanted to help. They have known for many years that their delicious gourmet brownies cheer people up, so they quickly made arrangements to send hundreds of brownies to some of the hardest hit areas in Florida. With the assistance of Gevity in Bradenton, Florida, the brownies arrived safely and were hand carried to the Salvation Army in Bradenton and to the Myakka Family Church in Arcadia just in time for dinner last Friday night.

Several brownies were also sent to Marilyn McMahon, a Lake Wales, Florida resident whose home and neighborhood were impacted by the hurricane. Marilyn said, "As I delivered the brownies, they called me the Fairy Lady. Everybody was so delighted. Thank you so much for the delicious brownies!"

After learning how much people appreciated receiving the chocolate treat, Fairytale Brownies sent hundreds more of their famous brownies to the Pioneer Park Distribution Center in Wauchula, Florida and to the Charlotte County Emergency Management volunteers in Punta Gorda, Florida today. They have also made a donation through their local American Red Cross office in Phoenix, Arizona.

Fairytale Brownies has been baking brownies from scratch in small batches using a secret family recipe since 1992.
