United Way of Miami-Dade Sharpens Their Fund-Raising Skills Through the Training Provided by the Tye Maner Group

Tampa, FL, September 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Selling a product is hard enough in today’s economic climate. But for non-profits, fund-raising efforts may be even harder. However, thanks to the Tye Maner Group, the development team at the United Way of Miami-Dade learned how to sharpen their skills for maximize fund-raising efforts.

Conducting two seminars, President Tye Maner lead the development team through a series of exercises, case studies and personal experiences covering topics such as attitude, objections, establishing rapport, don’t talk past the sale and how to test the water. The United Way team in attendance was comprised of staff, officers and loan executives.
