Fairytale Brownies

Open House Anniversary Celebration October 12, 2002 in Chandler

Chandler, AZ, August 15, 2002 --(PR.com)-- Fairytale Brownies®, an Arizona-based gourmet mail-order brownie company, will celebrate their 10-year anniversary with an open house at their bakery in Chandler on October 12, 2002. This is the same date that co-owners David Kravetz and Eileen Spitalny spelled out their first partnership agreement on an old typewriter.

With a friendship since kindergarten and a promise since high school, Eileen and David began Fairytale Brownies in 1992 in a friend's catering kitchen. They used a 45-year-old secret family recipe belonging to David's Mom and have grown from a 2 person part-time operation to a bustling company with 75 employees during the peak season. All brownies are baked from scratch with imported Belgian chocolate, fluffy cake flour and real creamery butter. This year, Fairytale Brownies will bake and ship nearly 2 million brownies.

Fairytale Brownies are individually wrapped and available in 12 delectable flavors. Gift packaging is available in multiple sizes for a variety of occasions. Worldwide shipping is available and every product is certified kosher. The company has received rave reviews in publications such as The New York Times, USA Today and The Wine Spectator, and was recently featured in a segment of Food Finds on The Food Network.

The open house celebration will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2002 from 10 A.M. until 5 P.M. at Fairytale Brownies. The bakery is located at 6280 W. Erie Street in Chandler. The open house will have a Fairytale theme with a street fair atmosphere. Activities will include brownie sampling, an ice cream station, face painting, a bounce house, contests, bakery tours (and observation of brownie production), music and other activities. Check our website, brownies.com, for an updated schedule of party activities.

Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
