Coventry, United Kingdom, October 04, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- Recession hit estate agents are being offered help to boost sales as house sales hit an all time low. Help in the form of a new approach to marketing property is being offered by marketing expert Stefan Drew in a one day Marketing Masterclass to be held in Coventry.
With a mortgage famine and economic uncertainty property sales are at an all time low and estate agents are going out of business every week. Marketing consultant, Stefan Drew, believes that many estate agents could improve sales if they implemented some of the low cost marketing techniques he has developed for small businesses.
Stefan Drew commented, “We all need estate agents at some time in our lives and the loss of local estate agents will hurt anyone wanting to buy, sell or rent in the future. Estate Agents tend to use very traditional marketing methods, such as advertising, and this can be very expensive and doesn’t always bring in enough customers. In many cases, by rethinking their marketing and using some of the hundreds of low cost methods, estate agents can spend less on marketing and get more customers.
For example, very few estate agents provide sellers with good advice on how to prepare their house for sale so that it will sell quickly and at best price. As many of the property programmes on TV have shown it isn’t difficult to declutter, improve the first impression of a home and its overall presentation but very few estate agents advise sellers. Those that do have more properties for sale, sell them quicker and at higher price.”
He continued, “Advertising has been used by estate agents for years; but in many cases they aren’t getting best value for money. There are tried and tested means that can be used to make advertising more effective and it costs nothing to improve an advert so that it sells more houses.
Estate Agents also need to think about their websites and the dozens of E-marketing opportunities they could use - many of them costing nothing to implement – and yet can bring buyers through the door.
