SonaVision Captures Images, Police Arrest Two

Seattle, WA, October 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- SonaVision video surveillance captured images of individuals climbing a fence at Stoneway Electric and the quick action of a Sonitrol Pacific operator allowed police to arrest two October 11.

Award winning Sonitrol Pacific Operator Michael Young received multiple system activations from the business and saw two people “slinking” around the business’s fence. He immediately called Seattle Police.

While officers were en route to Stoneway Electric, Young continued to watch the suspects activity and saw them carry items to and over the yard’s back wall.

Police arrived in approximately five minutes and took both individuals into custody. The two suspects claimed to be delivery drivers. According to police, they were juveniles using the fence to climb onto the roof of a neighboring business. Area businesses have been the frequent victim of tagging and vandalism.

This was the second time this year someone was arrested at Stoneway Electric after the Sonitrol Pacific security system detected criminal activity. In January 2008, a suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment before going to jail after a police dog bit him when he tried to escape arrest.
