Sale of Enzymatic Therapy, Inc. To Nature’s Way Holding Company Finalized

Nature’s Way Holding Company names Randy J. Rose President/CEO and Rory Mahony Chief Operating Officer of new natural medicine powerhouse.

Green Bay, WI, November 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Representatives of the Dr. Willmar Schwabe Group, of Karlsruhe, Germany, have confirmed that corporate ownership for Enzymatic Therapy, Inc., of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was transferred on Friday, October 31, 2008.

A shareholder group comprised of North Castle Partners, LLC, and members of Enzymatic Therapy Management previously owned Enzymatic Therapy, Inc.

Details of the sale price are unavailable, as is information regarding the combined revenue of the entities.

The North American operating platform for the Schwabe group will be named Nature's Way Holding Company, and will include the entire operations of Enzymatic Therapy, Inc. and Nature’s Way Products Inc.

The combined group will create an organization with great depth of technical and scientific expertise that will market a very broad line of wellness products and natural medicines.

Nature’s Way Holding Company will continue to bring trusted consumer solutions forward under highly popular brand names that include Nature's Way(tm), Alive(tm), Zucol(tm), Umcka(tm), Pearls(tm) Whole Body Cleanse(tm), Remifemin(R), and Enzymatic Therapy(R).

Additionally, the company will continue to market professional products sold only through medical professionals under labels that include Integrative Therapeutics(R).

Nature’s Way Holding Company has confirmed to its customers that all merchandising and marketing programs previously announced for both product lines will continue. The Company also will continue to distribute products to over 40 countries outside the United States.

Randy J. Rose, formerly the President and CEO of Enzymatic Therapy, has been named the President and CEO of the combined business, and Rory Mahony, who previously served as COO & General Manager of Nature's Way, will be the Chief Operating Officer. Both Mr. Rose and Mr. Mahony will join the Board of Directors for the new corporate entity.

Nature’s Way Holding Company operates manufacturing and distribution facilities in Utah and Wisconsin, and has offices across the United States, including those in New York City, St Louis, Missouri, Green Bay, Wisconsin, and in Springville, Utah. It also has a marketing and distribution company in Canada.
