Timothy Heberling, as a WSI Consultant, works with his clients in the Northern Virginia area to create websites that work for the client. Willowcroft Farm Vineyard’s site features a direct link to online sales of their wines, a driving directions generator, lists of their wines and awards won, an activity calendar, a contact form and information on the winery. Also included is a photo gallery with a dynamic slideshow linking to some of Loudoun’s finest views. Information on group reservations, home winemaking courses, and links to favorite local attractions are featured as well.

An Internet pioneer, Timothy Heberling has over 20 years experience working with the Internet, beginning as a Communications-Computer Officer leveraging the Defense Data Network for the Air Force Chief of Staff‘s offices. After his Air Force career, Mr. Heberling was the first member of a team supporting the White House’s new web site www.whitehouse.gov as well as the President’s public email system. More recently Mr. Heberling served in demanding technical positions over 10 years with AOL Operations.

Willowcroft Farm Vineyards (http://www.willowcroftwine.com) is owned by Lew Parker. Lew purchased Willowcroft and moved his family there in 1979. After discovering that the technology of grape growing had changed to permit high quality European varieties to be grown in Virginia, he planted the first acre in 1981. The historic red barn, dating to Civil War times, provided a wonderful location for a winery and Tasting Room. The first wines produced in 1984 won medals, a trend which has continued. The winery has now won hundreds of medals in national and international competitions, including Virginia’s Jefferson Cup, Best of Fair in the Virginia State Fair competition, double Golds with International Eastern, and many medals in California competitions.
