Solar Innovations, Inc. Announces the Introduction of a Black Stainless Steel Glass Spacer and Additional Decorative Options

Solar Innovations, Inc., a custom manufacturer of residential and commercial conservatories; greenhouses; sunrooms; folding, tilting, and sliding glass doors, walls, windows, and screens; is proud to announce the introduction of a black stainless steel glass spacer and additional decorative options.

Myerstown, PA, November 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Solar Innovations, Inc., a custom manufacturer of residential and commercial conservatories; greenhouses; sunrooms; folding, tilting, and sliding glass doors, walls, windows, and screens; has been known for many years as one of the industry leaders, especially in the area of traditional conservatory production. However, with new accessory options, Solar Innovations® has been able to further increase historical appeal and customization options in this area.

Solar is proud to announce the introduction of a black stainless steel spacer which will complement the black SDL’s in Solar’s decorative accessory product line. Solar Innovations’® SDL’s are also available, as always, with a silver colored stainless steel glass spacer. Both of these spacers maintain thermal efficiency within the glass panel; however, the addition of the new black stainless steel spacer provides further traditional enhancement of the overall structure.

Solar Innovations® also offers internal glazing muntins for incorporation into glazed conservatories. These muntins provide high performance and an exceptional glass warranty. Depending on the application, Solar Innovations, Inc.’s glass with muntins provides a 15 year and 80% Argon fill guarantee, as well as a 10-20 year seal warranty application. This grid option allows for easy cleaning of the glass because the grids are within the insulated area of the glass unit.

SDL’s and interior muntins successfully provide a charming, traditional look to the conservatory for customers that desire value and function in their conservatory with all of the old world aesthetics.

There are few, slight differences between SDL’s and interior muntins. One of those differences is the actual dimensions of the grids; SDL’s are thicker and take up more space inside the glass panel, making them appear as though they are true divided lites, while interior muntins are thinner and leave additional space in between the glass panes and the grid itself, lessening the allusion that they are a part of the glass. SDL’s also utilize exterior grids placed on the outer glass panes to further enhance the appearance of a true division. In addition, SDL’s are only offered in Black while interior muntins are available in six of seven Solar Innovations’® standard colors of Black, White, Hartford Green, Natural Clay, Sandstone, and Bronze.

Conservatory enthusiasts can look for new bellexion molding options for raised panel applications and additional rafter trims to be added to this extensive accessory line in 2009. Additional wood detailing options will also be available with the new aluminum molding selections to satisfy any customer’s preference.

Solar Innovations, Inc. is also looking forward to the launch of its standards program which will allow for faster engineering, drawing, and delivery times, as well as complement the already existing complete custom product line. These standards will also factor-in traditional options coinciding with the custom conservatories.
