Sonitrol Pacific's SonaVision Cameras Lead to Arrest

Milwaukie, OR, December 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sheriff’s deputies arrested one man suspected of breaking into J&M Auto Body in Milwaukie after the shop’s monitored SonaVision security camera system captured the man looking inside cars parked at the business November 30.

Sonitrol Pacific Operator Mikeilah Tatum received the system’s activation and saw a man wearing dark clothing walking around the shop’s property, peering into cars. She immediately called the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies raced to the business, located the suspect and held him at gunpoint.

According to officers, the suspect initially claimed he never entered the shop’s fenced-in area, but got quiet when they told him his actions we captured by security cameras. Sheriff’s deputies expect to use the recorded images in the case against the suspect.
