Tempe, AZ, December 30, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- The Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) will be at the heart of the upcoming 17th annual Arizona Women's Expo, to be held April 25-26, 2009. Today, SPARK Magazine and CTCA are pleased to announce CTCA as a presenting sponsor for the Expo.
“With our brand-new location in Goodyear we are excited to offer a whole-person approach when it comes to cancer treatment,” said Molly Stockley, Director of Marketing at CTCA. “Our hope is to bring awareness regarding personal health as well as our highly successful treatment methods to the Women’s Expo and all of Arizona.”
CTCA specializes in the treatment of various forms of cancer at all stages through a combination of conventional and state-of-the-art treatments supplemented with supportive, complementary medicine therapies. By focusing on not just the body but also the effects of everyday life, CTCA has been able to advance the care and quality of life of its patients for almost 30 years. Through their unique approach of Patient Empowerment Medicine (PEM), CTCA has placed patients at the center of all care decisions, empowering them to voice opinions and participate in their own treatment.
Their newest hospital, which begins accepting patients on December 29th and will have its Grand Opening April 23, will be the first hospital for CTCA in the western United States. The building itself was designed and built from scratch, taking input from patients to insure a technologically advanced, yet comfortable atmosphere. The hospital will house the entire medical team under one roof, allowing for a patient’s treatment plans to be coordinated and, if needed, adjusted in real-time.
“CTCA is an amazing organization and the Arizona Women’s Expo is proud to assist them in the support of personal health and in recognition of their newest treatment facility here in the Valley,” said Bridget Brodie, Editor-in-Chief of SPARK Magazine and Event Producer of the Women’s Expo.
At the Expo, CTCA will sponsor the “Health and Community” village, which will be comprised of numerous organizations, both for and non-profit, aimed at improving a women’s life via health and community awareness.
The 2009 Arizona Women's Expo, presented by SPARK Magazine, is scheduled for April 25-26 and will be held at The University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. The Expo is Arizona’s largest annual consumer trade show and this year’s event will include over 600 vendors on-site selling, demonstrating and giving away thousands of products and services. General admission is $12, each day. Companies interested in exhibiting or in sponsorship opportunities should visit www.WomensExpoAZ.com or call 480.682.6704.
