Local Sports Hero to Share Inspirational Story at Business Club of the Triangle in January

Logan Aldridge to be the featured speaker at first breakfast of the New Year.

Raleigh, NC, January 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Logan Aldridge, a top national wakeboarder from Raleigh, will share his inspirational story at the Business Club of the Triangle’s (BCA Triangle) January breakfast. The breakfast is sponsored by Communities In Schools of NC (CISNC) and will be held at Brier Creek Country Club on January 16th.

On a wakeboarding trip with his family five years ago, Logan experienced a terrible accident that caused him to lose his left arm. Logan has not only overcome the challenge of losing a limb, he has gone on to achieve goals at the highest levels. He was the youngest competitor and placed 2nd in wakeboarding at the 2006 O&P Extremity Games for amputees. He also plays on the varsity lacrosse team at his school, snowboards, and shoots under 100 on the golf course.

“With the many challenges 2008 brought to the business community, Logan’s story of overcoming obstacles will be a great way to inspire our members and guests as they begin a new year,” said Penn Shore, president of BCA Triangle.

Logan’s story has inspired others to gain direction and focus. His message is simple: challenges are opportunities for you to set your attitude and strive to meet and overcome your goals. In other words….Go beyond expectations.
