Inter-Tel Announces Election of New Directors
Tempe, AZ, April 26, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Inter-Tel, Incorporated (NASDAQ: INTL) today announced the election of two new members to its Board of Directors and the reelection of the current five members of the Board. The two new Directors, Ms. Agnieszka Winkler and Mr. Alexander L. Cappello, were elected at the annual shareholders meeting on April 26, 2005. All members of the Board are elected for one-year terms.

Ms. Winkler is the founder of 3 marketing companies. The first two, Winkler Advertising, founded in 1984, and TeamToolz, Inc., founded in 1999 were both sold. She is currently founder and Chairman of The Winkler Group, a management consultancy specializing in marketing efficiency and effectiveness for Fortune 1000 companies. She serves on the Board of Directors of IP Locks, the Board of Trustees of Santa Clara University and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of The Committee of 200. Ms. Winkler has a BA, MA and received an MBA from Santa Clara University in 1981. A frequent keynote speaker at industry meetings globally, she is also the author of Warp Speed Branding: The Impact of Technology on Marketing published by Wiley and subsequently translated and published in China and Turkey, also by Wiley. She has received numerous awards, including: Best Woman in Advertising sponsored by McCall's and ADWEEK; Ad Age's 100 Best and Brightest Women in Marketing and Advertising and Ad Age's 25 Women to Watch.

Mr. Cappello is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Cappello Group, Inc., a global boutique merchant bank, which includes Cappello Capital Corp. (member SIPC-NASD). He has thirty years experience in corporate management, corporate finance, investment banking, merchant banking both in the U.S. and extensive experience overseas. He is currently or has been a member of the board of directors of several companies and institutions including: RAND Corporation-Center for Middle East Public Policy, RAND-RUSSIA Forum, Genius Products, Inc. (NASDAQ), Australian Cancer Technology (ASX), Advanced Biotherapy, Inc. (OTC), Benitec (Sydney Stock Exchange), Intelligent Energy (London), Swiss American Financial – (Chairman), Euro American Financial Corporation – (Chairman), U.S.C. Board of Governors, U.S.C. Entrepreneur Advisory Council, U.S.C.
