Palmer Whitney serves the ERISA 403(b) retirement plan market on behalf of MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division based in Springfield, Massachusetts. In this role, he supports hospitals and healthcare organizations, private education, associations and other 501(c) (3) non-profit organizations. Mr. Whitney is a recognized nonprofit industry leader in plan design, communication and education, and assessing and serving the retirement plan needs of the nonprofit market.

Prior to joining MassMutual in 2005, Mr. Whitney served as director of tax-exempt business development for the Principal Financial Group. He has more than 15 years of experience serving the retirement plan needs of the nonprofit market.

Mr. Whitney is a graduate of the University of Maine in Orono and holds his Series 6 and 63 registrations. He is a registered FINRA representative as well as a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
