Announcing the Establishment of Gary Hubbell Consulting

Author and speaker Gary Hubbell announces the launch of a consulting firm whose primary function is to assist nonprofit/social sector organizations to chart their future direction and to generate the resources necessary to fuel their growth.

Milwaukee, WI, July 05, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Gary Hubbell, author of “Forces of Change: The Coming Challenges in Hospital Philanthropy” announces the formation of Gary Hubbell Consulting. The firm works with mission-driven organizations in health care, education, and human services to provide solutions in the critical areas of Planning, Adaptation Strategies, and Resource Development.

Gary Hubbell Consulting helps to identify and remove barriers to organizational growth, while assisting clients to secure the necessary human and financial resources. Gary Hubbell Consulting is able to transform silos of knowledge into holistic networks of integrated talent, functionality, and solutions in new business development, foundation management, strategic planning, resource development, program development, major gift strategies, and planned giving.

“Opportunity is all around, as is risk and environmental pressure. Determining direction and finding the resources to fuel organizational growth is essential,” says Hubbell, who has almost thirty years experience helping nonprofit organizations fulfill their missions.

In addition to his work serving as counsel and coach to more than 100 organizations across the country, (most recently with Growth Design Corporation), Hubbell served as director of development and marketing for the nation’s fifth largest human and natural history museum (Milwaukee Public Museum), where he assisted leaders with the transformation of the organization from a public to a private 501(c)(3) organization. Other fund raising leadership roles included creation of the development programs for his hometown hospital—Port Huron (MI) Hospital -- and for Kettle Moraine Hospital, an alcohol and chemical dependency treatment facility in Wisconsin. He also spent four years with a national health care fund raising consulting firm, Lyons Associates.

Hubbell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan (1978) and a Master of Science degree in Organization and Management from Capella University (2004). He is an active author and speaker. His independent research resulted in the publication of his first book, Forces of Change: The Coming Challenges in Hospital Philanthropy (Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, 2005).
