Northern Kentucky Electric Service Founds Midwestern Facility Managers Network

Alexandria, KY, April 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Northern Kentucky Electric Service (NKES), a leading Greater Cincinnati manufacturing and industrial electrical contractor has announced the launch of a new organization, the Midwestern Facility Managers Network. The group is open to those involved with the day-to-day oversight of large facilities, and can be accessed through the LinkedIn professional networking website.

Features will include a newsfeed and an open forum addressing issues, challenges and news relevant to the profession.

“We wanted to create a platform that would enable regional facility managers to connect with one another and discuss issues relevant to their industry,” Northern Kentucky Electric Service president Mike Wissman said. “Addressing the evolving challenges of energy efficiency and facility upgrades is a difficult task, and we want facility managers to know that they’re not alone in this journey.”

The Midwestern Facility Managers Network is open to facility managers, operations executives, building supervisors and business owners nationwide, but will focus primarily on issues faced by the Midwest region of the United States.
