Atlanta, GA, April 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Aubrey Daniels -- a Ph.D., the world’s foremost authority on applying the scientifically-proven laws of human behavior to the workplace, and author of “Oops! 13 Mistakes Managers Make and How to Avoid Them” -- doesn’t shy from new media.

While other 73-year-olds might still be divining the intricacies of email, Daniels is harnessing the resources of the Internet as business-building communication tools:

-In support of his book’s release, in conjunction with What’s Up Interactive, he has launched a blog (www.aubreydanielsblog.com) as a platform where visitors can submit questions about managing difficult situations.

-Supporting the blog are a series of 13 podcasts — one for each of the 13 chapters of the book, as well as seven videos, each covering broader topics that relate to the book’s theme of managing smarter.

-The podcasts and videos will be added to the blog site out over coming weeks in support of the book’s release.

-Each of the videos will also live on Daniels’ YouTube channel – http://www.youtube.com/aubreydaniels. This approach is part of the larger strategic social marketing plan developed and being implemented by What’s Up over the course of several months.

Daniels helps the world’s leading organizations employ the timeless principles of behavioral science to re-energize the workplace, optimize performance and achieve lasting results. His management consulting firm, Aubrey Daniels International (ADI), works with business leaders such as DaimlerChrysler, Blue Cross Blue Shield, NASA, Roche Laboratories, and Westinghouse to develop management strategies that reinforce critical behaviors vital to their long-term success.

“The Internet has created an awesome tool box that anyone can use to communicate their thoughts , ideas and products effectively,” Daniels said. “A lot of seniors may look at the Internet, shake their heads and walk away. They’re missing an opportunity.”
