Wake County Economic Development Assistant Executive Director Speaks at Global Development Symposium

Raleigh, NC, May 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ken Atkins, executive director for Wake County Economic Development (WCED) (www.raleigh-wake.org), has announced that Conni Tucker, assistant executive director, participated in a symposium on global development hosted by Wake Technical Community College and the Economics Club of Wake Tech on April 13 at the new northern campus. Tucker and other Triangle business leaders addressed global development to an audience of their peers, students and the public. Presentations were followed by a catered dinner and discussion session.

“I was pleased to be a speaker at the symposium on global development at Wake Tech,” said Tucker. “It was a great way to share information on economic development and in the Triangle and provide information about our region’s role in economic development.”
