New Concept on Business Networking Raises Interest of Local Rotary Clubs

Germantown, MD, May 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Martin Posse, President of Altronics Communications Inc and Founder of Giving Connections was invited to speak at local Rotary Clubs about his new concept of Business Networking.

Last May 5th, Mr. Posse presented his new concept to a group of Rotarians in Gaithersburg MD and is scheduled to present at a Silver Spring group later this month.

"Giving Connections, Networking that makes a difference" is a series of monthly networking events for professionals and business leaders, organized by Altronics Communications, Inc.

Each monthly event spotlights one non-profit organization, providing them an opportunity to display information and bring representatives who will network with attendees. No speeches or fund raising are involved, just networking, in a casual and professional setting. Most registration proceeds are donated to the featured organization.

Giving Connections is currently hosting events in Montgomery County, MD and Washington, DC. A new chapter in Frederick County is under development and will start organizing events in June this year.

"I am excited about having the opportunity to present my concept to any group, but being invited by two Rotary Clubs is a great honor. Their interest is always directed to very important projects and programs at levels that go from Local to International, and being considered to speak at a group gathering makes us particularly proud" said Mr. Posse after the meeting.

Mr. Posse was a charter member of the Upper Montgomery Rotary Club and served as interim President of the chapter through Charter Night. "Even though my many activities took me away from the Upper Montgomery Club, I am a firm believer on Rotary's mission", Mr. Posse said.

"Giving Connections is such an awesome idea - makes everyone feel so Good about going out into the world to network - takes the drudgery and shyness out of sales and marketing and has everyone patting themselves on the back for being a good citizen and engaged in their community", reads a post by Barbara Garlock, Director of Community Outreach and Development at Interfaith Works, one of the organizations sponsored by Giving Connections.

Business representatives are encouraged to sign up for events or apply for membership to the organization. More information can be found at www.giving-connections.com
