Kathryn McHenry of KNM Creative Services Starts Meetup Group in College Park / Winter Park, FL for Social and Business Networking
Orlando, FL, August 08, 2006 --(PR.com)-- A new concept in networking and meeting new people has swept the world, as www.meetup.com has begun to catch on among communities everywhere. Organizer Kathryn McHenry of KNM Creative Services saw that there were no business or social networking groups in the College Park/Winter Park, FL area, so she decided to start one and it quickly caught the attention of members in the Orlando area.
"Business and social networking has really caught on in Orlando, and I have used this tool as a way of marketing my business in the community rather than cold calling," said McHenry, owner of KNM Creative Services, an advertising offering such services as editing, writing, graphic design and web design.
"There are so many great restaurants in the College Park and Winter Park areas, and I wanted to take advantage of this by starting a new group and sharing my recommendations with others in the communities," said McHenry.
The group's first meetup will be at The Tap Room at Dubsdread (www.taproomatdubsdread.com) on Sat., Aug. 26th at 12:00 PM. Seating is limited and requires an RSVP, which is available on a first come, first serve basis. The group will meet at least 1-2 times a month after that.
