Conni Tucker Receives 40 Under 40 Leadership Award

Raleigh, NC, May 22, 2009 --( Ken Atkins, executive director of Wake County Economic Development (WCED) (, has announced that Conni Tucker, assistant executive director, has received the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Leadership Award, which honors up-and-coming leaders under the age of 40 who are making a difference in the community. Recipients of this award are selected based on business accomplishments, community involvement and significant career milestones. Tucker was presented with the award at the 40 Under 40 Leadership Award luncheon held at the Crabtree Marriot on May 1. All winners will be profiled in Triangle Business Journal’s special publication on May 15.
