Novus Origo Releases New White Paper Highlighting How the Mega Vendors are Missing the Mark in Middle Market Outsourcing

New White Paper reports on the flaws of the “One to Many” model.

San Diego, CA, June 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Middle Market organizations business processes are complex, dynamic and at times undefined and as such require a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) vendor that can provide a complex and dynamic solution. The cookie cutter ‘one to many’ outsourcing model currently being marketed by many large outsourcing vendors is not the solution for most Middle Market organizations and requires close scrutiny by organizations in search of a outsourcing solution. This is according to a new white paper recently released by Novus Origo, a Project Management, Outsourcing Consulting, and Vendor Relationship Management Company, entitled “Missing the Mark in Middle Market Outsourcing.”

Researched and compiled by Novus Origo’s Senior Vice President of Operations, Olen Pepple, the white paper is based on the Novus Origo team’s extensive project management, outsourcing consulting, and vendor relationship management experience.

The white paper focuses on the requirements for a Middle Market outsourcing engagement, the potential issues with best practices and economies of scale, the misinterpreted concept of the “one to many” model, and the impact that the “cookie cutter” model may have on a Middle Market company.

The report also describes flexible solutions which include: strategic business case design, comprehensive change management, and practical service level agreements (SLA’s). The white paper details these characteristic challenges and how outsourcing providers should revisit the solution for the Middle Market customer.

“This white paper is not to say that Middle Market companies should not outsource, however they should complete an in-depth due diligence regarding why and what they need to outsource” says Pepple. “We have found that once a company, regardless of size, understands the design of the outsourcing arrangement, and the processes and plans required to enter into and manage the outsourcing engagement, it will allow a company to better facilitate a proper change management process to position them for success.”
