Global Trade Base Announces Restructuring

Effective June 15, 2009 Global Trade Base announces a major Corporate restructuring to better align the needs of their domestic and international clients.

North Richland Hills, TX, June 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Board of Directors and senior staff have outlined a service package that directly supports domestic clients at all levels and a more strategic approach for foreign market penetration of domestically produced Food and HBA items.

Patrick Donnell has transitioned leadership of GTB North America. “It is the right strategic direction for Global Trade Base. More focus has to be given to our international expansion and improved support for our 180+ domestic clients. Fortunately, we have found the right person with the skills and experience to take Global Trade Base to the next level. Additional primary focus will be directed toward our 2Q 2010 European Office. Our growth is exponential within a year we will be on the ground in Europe and distributing products from our existing and new domestic clients.” Patrick Donnell.

E.J. Spidell has been promoted to President. Mr. Spidell was instrumental in expanding international sales, Corporate image as well as client profitability. His leadership, integrity and client commitment has produced growth during a turbulent domestic economy. “It was time for a change. Global Trade Base has always prided itself on the ability to make fast decisions and adjust quickly to an ever changing international marketplace. Our challenges have ranged from a turbulent economy, the release and aftermath of unethical employees and taking over many of the functions no longer available through the Department of Commerce. The bottom line is this. U.S. companies must unite like never before to penetrate foreign markets. This is what we do.” EJ Spidell

Todd Fratt has been appointed as Vice President, Product Distribution representing GTB client companies in foreign markets as well as developing domestic markets for client companies who seek market expansion within North America. “This is the next level for Global Trade Base. Increasing demands on international representation as well as domestic product placement is our way of making client companies more profitable, increasing economic and market liquidity, assisting in lowering the U.S. trade deficit as well as reaching our overall Corporate objective of client product placement in new markets.” Todd Fratt

Teresa Firmin has been appointed as Vice President, Domestic Sales. “We are restructuring our current marketing programs. Single and multiple trade mission representation will still be our core business as well as adding two new service levels. Client companies who do not have adequate budget to penetrate internationally can be included in our marketing for the international exposure and clients with strong potential who meet rigid acceptance requirements will be offered a Premier program with a written guarantee for sales.” Teresa Firmin. “We can now service the producers of client products with a four-tier service level that will be affordable to all companies that will not leave any client out of penetrating foreign markets.”

Global Trade Base has also realigned internal business groups to better serve the needs of foreign and domestic clients. “The current economic challenge has allowed us to develop more creative solutions to help our clients sell more products. I personally challenge anyone to find a company who can do what we do better. We strive for continual improvement of business practices and welcome anyone considering business with Global Trade Base to schedule an appointment and visit our corporate office.” EJ Spidell.
