Coffee Kiosk Burglary Suspect Caught by Sonitrol Pacific Audio Security

Everett, WA, June 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sonitrol Pacific audio sensors detected threatening activity at an Everett coffee stand and the monitoring operator sent police to arrest one suspected burglar June 13.

Expert Sonitrol Pacific Operator Minta Christopherson received an activation of audio security sensors at Broadway Joe’s II, immediately followed by window alarms and called police.

Officers arrived within five minutes of Christopherson’s call and located the suspected burglar counting cash behind a nearby store. They arrested him. Officers believe the same man was responsible for attempting to break into another nearby restaurant.

According to a representative from the coffee stand, the burglar broke a window, reached inside to open it and crawled into the facility. He rummaged through the shop’s drawers and two refrigerators, and drank a Snapple. He was in and out within five minutes, but thanks to the fast response by Christopherson and the Everett Police, he didn’t get far before being caught.
