Backpacks of School’s Video Equipment Recovered Due to Sonitrol Pacific Detection

Marysville, WA, July 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested three suspected burglars and recovered backpacks filled with video equipment thanks to a detection by Sonitrol Pacific’s security system at a Washington school June 30.

Sonitrol Pacific Operator Michele Imholt received the system activation from the school around 9:30 p.m. and called Everett Police.

Recently, this school was hit four times by criminal activity. Each time the Sonitrol Pacific security system detected the break-in, but suspects fled before police could arrive. The Sonitrol Pacific Operations Center team was ready for anything.

When officers arrived, the suspects scattered. One person was caught immediately and two more were tracked down with the help of a K9 officer.

Police found video equipment from the school on the three suspects when they arrested them.
