Four School Burglary Suspects Caught After Sonitrol Pacific Detection

Mukilteo, WA, July 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Determined officers followed suspected school burglars into the woods and didn’t give up until they took four into custody after Sonitrol Pacific detected the suspects July 9.

Expert operator Minta Christopherson received a Sonitrol Pacific impact-activated alarm from the Washington high school and heard men’s voices over live audio. She immediately called Mukilteo Police.

Officers arrived on campus and promptly apprehended one person. They witnessed two more take off into the woods. A K9 unit from the Edmonds Police Department joined the Mukilteo officers, and together they tracked down the two additional suspects.

Upon questioning, the three people in custody gave up a fourth suspect and that individual was arrested as well.

According to officers, the four took a computer from the school and stashed it in the woods, but it was recovered and returned.
