George Fern Company Presented with One KC Award
Cincinnati, OH, July 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association (CVA) awarded the George Fern Company with the One KC Award during its 2009 Annual Tourism Celebration luncheon held May 12. The One KC Award is given to recognize continuing support and promotion of tourism throughout the Kansas City region and a strong commitment to excellence and betterment of the industry as a whole.
The award was presented to Rick Tyner, general manager of the Kansas City office. Tyner said, “We are proud to receive this award. The George Fern Company believes in the power of face-to-face exhibitions and the impact they have on generating growth for all industries. Fern has a very strong relationship with the CVA and the convention center, and we are known as the leader in the region for tradeshow services. Kansas City continues to be a great city to host these gatherings. We partner with the CVA to ensure a positive experience for convention organizers and their guests while they are hosting an event in Kansas City.”
Recipients of this award must be a member of the CVA and leader in the hospitality industry. The George Fern Company also recently received the 2008 Supplier of the Year, presented by the Kansas City Convention Center.
