PMI New York City Chapter Members Win More Than $2,000 in Free Training

Manhattan, NY, July 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- At the June 17th Project Management Institute (PMI) New York City Chapter meeting, Arcella Global announced the winners of the free scholarship program for their Managing Projects| Foundations Course to be held at the Hyatt, Grand Central Station on July 18th & 19th. The winners of the scholarship are Bhavesh Patel and Janet Pelliccio - both members of the PMI NYC chapter.
On hand to present the scholarship was Bill McDade, President of Arcella Global. Mr. McDade informed the meeting attendees about the unique and progressive learning opportunities that Arcella Global provides to both it's corporate clients as well as the general public. McDade said that “we're seeing an increasingly sophisticated and experienced student attend our courses. Many of our attendees have already earned their PMP and are ready to work on advanced skills."
According to the PMI NYC Chapter, there are over 2,600 people who are chapter members with more than 1,500 having earned their PMP. Arcella Global is focused on assisting the PMI NYC chapter to achieve its stated vision:
To grow our membership in numbers, in knowledge, in skill, and in competence as evidenced by our value-based development, skills sharpening, and educational meetings, conferences, and special events.

Arcella Global's first step in supporting the PMI NYC chapter is providing these two scholarships worth more than $2,000.
