NAIP Offers Members 10% Discount and 3 Months Free Monitoring

NAIP: The National Association of Installing Partners gets its members 'three months free.' Partnership with Vision brings discounted monitoring and interactive video capabilities.

Massapequa, NY, August 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Partnership with Vision brings discounted monitoring, video capabilities.

A little over six months after its founding, the National Association of Installing Partners (installingpartners.com) has landed a deal for its members to get 10 percent off monitoring fees, plus the last three months of every year free, from Vision Monitoring, the wholesale arm of World Wide Security. A UL-listed central station with roughly 18,000 accounts, Vision is also launching a new video monitoring offering whereby dealers will be able to resell two-way voice guard touring, video verification, and a number of other video-centric services.

Zsolt Sapy, NAIP founder, said Vision’s ability to offer video monitoring was almost as important as the value it could offer to his members. “Every [customer] that I’ve spoken with—down at the housing projects in New Jersey, all over the place—they want that interactive monitoring. There are so many cameras out there, but only a few in areas that are really bad. If they could have that two-way deterrent in the hallways where people are doing the really bad stuff, that could make a big difference. “It could also save the equipment,” he chuckled. “It might say vandal-proof, but sooner or later they destroy it.”

Jeff Katz, general manager at World Wide/Vision, said the NAIP “reaches out to a lot of the clientele that we’d like to have, a lot of smaller alarm dealers without monitoring centers ... We’re looking to expand our monitoring operations.” He said the video monitoring offering, based on Honeywell’s RapidEye products, is in the testing stages right now and should be completely ready for roll-out on Sept. 1.

Katz noted that his offer to NAIP members is basically a free fourth quarter for each year they agree to contract, so “if they want to do a four-year agreement, that’s a year’s free monitoring.”

Also as part of this growth mode, Katz said World Wide is looking at acquisitions that will help build the account base. The partnership with NAIP may very well expose World Wide to potential sellers.
