Suspect to Hospital, Jail After Detection by Sonitrol Pacific

Lakewood, WA, August 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Police apprehended two women suspected of an attempted break-in at a Washington school, but one had to be hospitalized due to injuries she is believed to have sustained while trying to get inside July 21.

Expert Sonitrol Pacific Operator Minta Christopherson received an activation from the security system at the school. She listened to real-time audio and heard voices and glass breaking. Christopherson called police.

Officers arrived on campus to find two women who had been drinking and took them into custody. One of the women severely damaged her arm and was taken to the hospital. Officers believe the woman injured herself when breaking the window.

Sonitrol Pacific detected another attempted break-in at this school a few weeks early on June 13, 2009.
