Sonitrol Pacific Operator's Persistence Yields Arrest

Tacoma, WA, August 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Expert analysis and persistence of a Sonitrol Pacific operator resulted in the arrest of a suspected burglar at a Washington school July 24.

Operator Michael Young was on watch for the school about 3 a.m. when he began receiving alarm activations from an upstairs room. He called the school district’s guard service to investigate.

Guards went to the school, but didn’t find any problems.

Soon after the guards left, Young received additional activations from the same area of the school and he called them to return.

When the guards arrived a second time, they spotted someone inside the school and police were called.

Officers took one intruder into custody. Police believe the suspect got inside through a roof hatch.
