Temple Games, Inc. announces strategy board game that defies gravity

This press release announces the introduction of "Polarity," a unique strategy board game that utilizes the forces of magnetism.

San Leandro, CA, June 22, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Following the successful test-market introduction of its strategy board game, Polarity, Temple Games, Inc., announces broader distribution of the game and the launch of a dedicated online community, http://www.polaritygame.com.

Jason Seeber, Director of Marketing for Temple Games, Inc., had this to say of the introduction of Polarity, “We are thrilled with the response that we have been getting from retailers. In the few short weeks that Polarity has been available, it has been selling out. Reviews from customers have all been very positive and it looks like Polarity is fast becoming a big hit.”

Polarity is a strategy board game that utilizes the forces of magnetism as a component of game play. In the game, strategy and dexterity play nearly equal roles as players take turns carefully placing hovering magnetic discs. By placing the discs in strategic locations, players can force each other to make mistakes which cause the pieces on the board to react in chaotic and dynamic ways.

“Polarity blends deep strategy with dexterity in a way that has never been seen in board gaming before. There is a good deal of tension and excitement during a game. There is always laughter - and a real sense of wonder,” said Jason Seeber. “Also, the game encourages deep strategic planning for more advanced players. Polarity is a game that people tend to play over and over again as their skills increase.”

Coinciding with the release of the game is the fully-featured community website, http://www.polaritygame.com. “The website is a meeting place and a resource for new and more seasoned players alike. At the site, players can exchange play tips, post and answer questions, read player profiles, locate other players through a player-matching system and more. The site has a members only area for special content and the site will always feature at least two contests running at all times,” said Jason Seeber.

Polarity, for 2 players (or 4 players in team play) is suitable for people age 7 or older and is available through retailers across the US and Europe.
