LiteraryEscape.com Announces Submission Call for New Online Journal

The editors of LE Quarterly, the new online journal being published by Literaryesape.com, want to publish a journal that appeals to popular culture. The new journal is expected to debut October 15th, 2005.

Orlando, FL, June 23, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Literaryescape.com is an energetic online community where the members engage in literary discourse, idle chatter, and most prominently, literary critique.  The site has been online since 2001, and has been a portal for over 1200 members during its course of existence.   The site administrators have experimented with a number of features, such as blogs, member-created homepages, clubs, and even a literary directory, but the most popular feature of the site has always been the critique forum.

Because the popularity of the critique forum unfolded a diverse range of talent and an unquestionable drive to improve literary techniques, the founder of Literaryescape.com thought that an online journal would be a great way to give these writers a forum to display their finely tuned pieces.  Members from the website have volunteered their experience and time to be editors of this new endeavor.

"The editors of LE Quarterly consist of graduate students, literary enthusiasts, and editors of smaller literary journals," says Devrie Paradowski, the site's founder.  "We aim to be a literary journal that appeals to the general public, yet we want to ensure the pieces we publish show an exceptional level of literary mastery," she says, "I think we have the perfect blend of experience on the editorial staff to achieve that goal."

Many of the members of Literaryescape.com as well as the founders have wanted to have a site related journal for quite a while.  Devrie has been writing articles for various websites in an effort to garner enough money to pay for contributions and advertisements for such a task since September of 2004.

The compensation for contributions to this literary journal is small, but the administrators say that once the journal gains some more popularity, hopefully the compensation can increase.
