ePortation Appointed by the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority to Provide Port Wide Access Control

ePortation, a Philadelphia business, appointed by the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority to provide port wide access control to tighten up security at the port using exciting new technology.

Philadelphia, PA, September 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ePortation Inc. announced today that it has been appointed by the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority (PRPA) to provide port wide access control. ePortation was selected by the port due to its innovative technology combined with their extensive maritime domain expertise. The project, which starts this month, is to build and implement a port wide access control system for the PRPA commencing with their biggest tenant, Greenwich Terminals LLC.

PRPA, a designated strategic military seaport, has demonstrated by this appointment its goal of being a forward-looking agency. By utilizing modern technology, it has placed itself in the forefront of addressing the many challenges facing today’s seaports.
