New Sonitrol Pacific System Yields Two New Arrests

Mukilteo, WA, September 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Just two weeks after being installed, a Sonitrol Pacific security system activated, resulting in the arrest of two suspected burglars September 8, 2009.

Early in the morning, Sonitrol Pacific Operator Minta Christopherson received an activation of the audio security system at Zenic Cubed and heard sounds of glass breaking followed by movement and called police.

Officers were on scene in minutes and found two men trying to climb into the building through a window they broke. Both men were taken into custody.

The business had not yet moved into the new facility, but furniture, tools and electronics were already in place. The early and verified Sonitrol Pacific detection and the fast police response prevented significant loss.

According to a representative from Zenic Cubed, the two men tried to break a window by throwing a divider block from the parking lot at the building. Their first attempt caused some damage, but it took a second throw to smash through a window. Police arrived before they got inside.
