Todays-Woman.net set to release chapbook on grief

Sept 19th 2005 Todays-Woman.net is set to launch its first chapter book.

Belleville, Canada, June 24, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Sept 19th 2005 Todays-Woman.net is set to launch its first chapter book. The poems in the book will be of grief and loss. A number of the books will be donated to hospitals and nursing homes through out Ontario and available for purchase through the website.

Todays-Woman.net is a supportive online community for men and women over 18. They first opened their doors Sept 19th 2002. Their goal is to help writers succeed in the writing industry by offering a useful selection of services including author interviews, regular columns, interactive forums, and a place for writers to share their work for critique by their peers.

Rose DesRochers says this is an exciting new venture for Todays-Woman members and she adds that she got the idea after spending much time at the hospital caring for her mother.

Rose says, “when you are sitting in the family room there is not a lot of reading material and I think by offering the chapbooks to the hospitals, families will be able to read some poems that might help them through their grief.”

Poems must be submitted by August 15th. Poets email address will accompany the poems, so readers may contact the writer. The best ones will be chosen for the chapbook. The release date of the chapbook will be on Sept 19th Todays Woman’s Anniversary. Author selected will be announced on Todays-Woman September 1st.

Questions may be directed to Rose DesRochers admin@todays-woman.net . If the first book goes over well they will consider printing 4 a year on different subjects. In order to submit to the chapbook you must be a member of Todays-Woman.net.
