Trespassers Detected by Sonitrol Pacific, Arrested

Tacoma, OR, October 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Police took two suspected trespassers at a Washington school in possession of illegal drugs and spray paint into custody after Sonitrol Pacific detected suspicious activity September 19.

Operator Bricia Mejia received the initial Sonitrol Pacific security system activation just after 5:00 p.m. and called the school district’s guard service.

Officers located two juveniles on school grounds. The two suspects had marijuana and a can of black spray paint on them when they were apprehended. One suspect also had outstanding warrants for his arrest.

The security guards found “tagging” they believe was the work of the two arrested individuals.

This brings the total arrested due to a Sonitrol Pacific since 1978 detection to 5,179. Sonitrol Pacific security systems are designed for early and verified detection to ensure fast police response and arrest of suspects.
