Trespassers with Air Soft Guns Apprehended, Cited

Tacoma, WA, October 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A Sonitrol Pacific audio detection led to the apprehension of six trespassing juveniles at a Washington school October 11.

Sonitrol Pacific Operator Tara Fulmer received a system activation from the school’s audio security sensors in the area of the girls’ locker rooms just after 10:00 p.m. and called the district’s guard service.

Officers located six kids on campus carrying air soft guns. The six didn’t get inside the school and were cited for trespassing.

Sonitrol Pacific security systems are designed for the earliest possible detection to save organizations and businesses from significant losses. Often, as with this event, suspects are detected before they get into a facility.

Since 1978, almost 5,200 suspected criminals have been arrested after Sonitrol Pacific detected them.
