Minto Communities Adds Senior Executive to West Central Office to Fuel Growth and Market Leadership

Company eyes expansion in Orlando and Tampa Bay through the appointment of 15-year construction veteran Bill Bullock.

Tampa, FL, October 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Minto Communities, a Florida developer of award-winning homes and resort-style master planned communities, today announced the appointment of William (Bill) Bullock as vice president.

With more than 15 years of experience in the management, acquisition and development of real estate properties, Bullock will be responsible for focusing on growing Minto’s West Central office within the Orlando, Tampa and Naples markets. Additionally, he will manage the operations at Minto’s latest acquisition – Perico Island in Bradenton.

“Minto provides the opportunity to engage unique real estate opportunities supported by a well capitalized, established and high quality organization,” says Bullock. “It is truly exciting to be part of a team that views the recent economic realities with an eye toward expansion.”

Minto has been successful in acquiring multiple locations around Tampa, such as Grand Hampton, Lakewood Ranch and most recently Perico Island. And the company is looking for more.

“We have several West Coast of Florida locations on the drawing board. I plan on spending a significant portion of my efforts focusing on Orlando, which is another of the markets that we intend to have a significant presence,” states Bullock.

Prior to joining Minto, Bullock served as vice president for Kolter Land Partners, where his duties included strategic guidance, product development, and parcel acquisition. During his tenure, he was involved with the acquisition of 1,000+ finished lots while spearheading the company’s entry in the active adult market.

Bullock also has been an executive at leading companies such as Stock Development, Naples; Pulte Homes, Tampa and Jacksonville; and Lennar, Orlando and Tampa.

“During my career, I’ve gained a true appreciation for the systems and procedures involved in large-scale home building and the entrepreneurial side of business operations,” states Bullock. “This has allowed me to gain an insight into multiple business strategies that I intend to evolve into our best practices here at Minto.”

A graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he graduated with B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Bullock is a registered Florida Civil Professional Engineer.
