Area of Design Features Hollywood’s POP Artist Burton Morris

Dallas, TX, July 01, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Area of Design, an organization that showcases established and emerging artists, designers, commercial firms, and non profit groups based in the United States, interviews Burton Morris, the official artist of the 76th Academy Awards and NBC’s “The Apprentice.”

Burton Morris’ art is recognized by its bold, brilliant color, iconic subject matter and his use of black energy lines. His fine art pieces hang in the private collections of many Hollywood stars and entertainment business leaders, along with corporate commissions for international brands like Heinz, Perrier, and Absolute Vodka.

Area of Design asked Burton, “Who inspired you to become an artist?” Burton says, “I loved art as a kid, and can remember drawing from an early age, but I really got into it after an accident in 1967 left me with a broken femur. There was plenty of time to draw while I was learning to walk again. Of course, I loved comic books but I was also inspired by Picasso, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance artists.”
