From Morgan Stanley to Girls’ Basketball, Rosann Farmer Will Put Her Coaching Experience to Good Use with ActionCOACH

Rosann Farmer has several years of business experience and coaching experience, and she’s excited to put both to good use with ActionCOACH.

Las Vegas, NV, October 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Rosann Farmer is no stranger to coaching others to create a better situation for everyone. During her 25 years with Morgan Stanley in various managerial positions, Farmer was able to make a great impact on helping branch offices achieve new levels of success. Her accolades include being an instrumental driver of sales in its Seattle office so that it was the second most profitable office in the entire firm. She also led another branch out of decades of mediocre results to become one of the top 15 profitable companies in the Western Division. In addition, under Farmer’s leadership, yet another branch office experienced the lowest turnover of staff the entire company had for more than seven years.

In addition, she took over as coach for a girl’s high school basketball team. Before Farmer became coach, the team was failing and losing several games in a row. After Farmer took over, she coached them to a level that eventually took them all the way to the state tournament – the first time in the team’s history.

The feeling those high school girls had after achieving their highest dreams for their team – reaching the State Tournament – is what Farmer hopes to help all her clients achieve.

She decided to follow her own passion. She left her most recent position, C.O.O. at Evergreen Capital Management which is a private investment advisory firm, to join ActionCOACH.

“For over a year, I had been considering starting up my own side business of doing coaching,” she said. “I have spent almost 30 years in executive and sales management for a couple of Fortune 500 companies and wanted to use that experience to help others grow their business and find success they only dreamed possible.”

Farmer’s ActionCOACH office will be located in the Seattle suburbs and cater to Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond, all suburbs, but she will also cater to the city of Seattle, as well.

Her Master Licensee is Rafael Maymi. In addition, she will be working with Master Business Coach Isabella McPeak for her first year as a Business Coach.

“I work very well with others to help them envision new levels of success,” Farmer said. “I can then help them delineate that goal into achievable steps and provide clear leadership to accomplish their dreams.”

She is most looking forward to being able to help people in a variety of ways. “I enjoy networking and speaking a lot, but even more so, I love being part of helping people find new success,” she said. “I know it’s going to be a lot of hard work, but I am excited to be in the driver’s seat of my career!”
