The Wellness Community Kicks Off Holiday Season with 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Event

Westlake Village, CA, October 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura invites friends and neighbors to the 2nd annual Gingerbread House Event, 1– 3:30 p.m., Sunday, November 15. Amazing gingerbread houses, created by leading local chefs, will be on display and children will be able to reserve time slots to make their own gingerbread creations. An “opportunity drawing” will be held (drawing tickets will be $5) for the chance to win one of the unique and delicious chef-built gingerbread houses.

The Gingerbread House Event kicks off The Wellness Community’s holiday celebration, which features the 18th Annual Holiday Homes Tour on Dec. 5-6. The self-guided tour of Conejo Valley homes is the organization’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds helping to fund free programs of support, education and hope for people fighting cancer and for their families. Founded in 1982, The Wellness Community is an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones.
