With Las Vegas Still in a Recession, a Business Coach Could be the Answer

Nathan Smith is the newest ActionCOACH Business Coach in Las Vegas, Nevada, an area where several businesses could use improvement.

Las Vegas, NV, October 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A former Director at ActionCOACH has made the leap from corporate office to Business Coach.

Nathan Smith, the former Director of Systems and IT at ActionCOACH’s Global Office in Las Vegas, Nevada, loved what ActionCOACH did for business owners. Seeing Coaches around the world help business owners achieve their goals and dreams made it an easy decision.

Smith was always passionate about helping others, and since he has lived in Las Vegas, an area the economic recession has hit, especially hard, he’s seen a lot of local businesses suffer.

He decided he wanted to be more hands-on with helping local business owners succeed during these hard times, and made the transition from ActionCOACH’s corporate office to ActionCOACH Business Coach in August.

Smith brings a depth of knowledge in business and technical operations to his clients. He first started his career at 17 and had the opportunity to work in a diverse range of businesses. He has several years of experience managing people, building and running businesses together with systems and technology; his current clients range from an Asset Protection company to a Real Estate company to the Beauty Industry.

At the age of 21, he was the Manager for a Timber Flooring Manufacturing, Wholesaling and Trade business in Australia, and, he was involved in other business ventures including property development.

Before joining ActionCOACH in 2001 as the Chief Operations and IT Manager for ActionCOACH Australia and New Zealand, he was the owner of two companies.

“I understand the pressures, challenges and pleasures associated with being your own boss,” Smith said. “Being in business for yourself gives you firsthand experience of what is like. Buying and selling business helps you understand what level you need to take them to.”

In 2003, Smith left ActionCOACH to pursue the role of Managing Director in his family’s manufacturing organization, but returned to the company in 2006 to support ActionCOACH’s expanding operations. After moving with the company to Las Vegas in August 2007, he was named the Director of Systems and IT a year later.

“Joining ActionCOACH gave me the opportunity to help other business owners and entrepreneurs get amazing results,” Smith said. “Having been personally trained by Brad Sugars, the founder of ActionCOACH, and with the support of the ActionCOACH Global resources, my coaching, training and development programs are world-class. Having a coach is the single most positive investment a business owner can make in his business.”

With the CEO of ActionCOACH supporting him, Smith is confident he will be able to help his clients achieve all their goals and change their lives for the better.

“What excites me most about being a Business Coach is helping other business owners make money and see success,” he said.
