North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association to Co-Host 14th Annual North Carolina Veterinary Conference

Raleigh, NC, November 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (www.ncvma.org) has announced that it will co-host the 14th Annual North Carolina Veterinary Conference with the N.C. State College of Veterinary Medicine from Friday, Nov. 6 through Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Raleigh Convention Center, located at 500 South Salisbury Street. The NCVC is the largest event of its kind in the Southeast region. It presents an opportunity for North Carolina veterinarians to earn continuing education hours and learn the latest research findings and information on a variety of topics, including animal acupuncture, animal welfare, business management techniques and more. The conference, open only to registered attendees in the veterinarian profession, will feature a food drive for the SPCA of Wake County’s Pet Food Pantry, an auction by N.C. State University’s Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, an Exhibitors’ Reception on Friday evening, the first-ever NCVMA Town Hall meeting, and dinner and a performance by the Swing Street Band on Saturday night.
